Don’t you wonder what it’s like to be a horse each day?
It’s a GREAT life for our herd of more than 40 horses, as they only work hard for 4-5 months a year.
The rest of the time our horses roam free in large pastures, grazing and resting in the wide open spaces of Montana.
Horses treat guests to spectacular rides on mountain trails.
Sometimes a horse and rider go to the arena to work on particular skills which helps make the guest more comfortable while riding.
At quitting time a few of the herd must stay in the corral overnight, but the rest of the group heads to the pasture kicking up their heels and we’re sure they are saying, “Yahoo! A night of freedom to eat and rest in order to prepare for the next day.”
