A Note About Food Restrictions & Allergies:

We cater to dietary restrictions, no problem. Gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan or vegetarian, and allergies – we can accommodate your dietary needs as long as we have advance notice by more than 2 weeks.  Be sure to fill out your information on your reservation form and submit well before your trip. 

Delicious Montana Cowboy Cuisine​

Meals are hearty western, served buffet style, homemade bread and desserts, served three times a day! Delish! Enjoy two cookouts (weather permitting) which are weekly highlights. Sometimes lunches are out of a saddle bag on a day trip. Each day is different, but the food is always amazing. Freshly baked cookies in the cookie jar are a plus!

My favorite vacation!
One of my most favorite vacations! Friendly, fun & so easy to be there. The staff are knowledgeable and kind, housekeeping is also excellent. We never had to think about what to eat! Breakfast, lunch and dinner were provided and always delicious! .The other guests were a blast & Ron & Phyllis really fostered a feeling of "family ". Game night was so fun and the cookouts were really nice! Some of the horses even came to visit ~ The trail rides were incredible & I can now fly fish!! The animals are treated very well & have plenty of space to wander. I truly loved my time there & everyone we met!

Hawley Mountain Ranch is a Once in a Lifetime Experience
Hawley is a very authentic family ranch experience. The memories we have of the staff, food, horses and experiences will stay in our hearts forever. We travelled from Australia to visit Hawley and our expectations were exceeded. The wonderful home cooked, nutritious meals, the great conversation around the dinner table as we all ate together, the fantastic wranglers and horses specifically chosen for you and attention to detail from the housekeeping were second to none.

Best Trip of Summer 2023
My husband booked this trip a year in advance. This ranch was highly recommended and books up. After having enjoyed time there, I completely u nderstand why. The staff is friendly and interactive with the guests. There is so much outdoor activities to enjoy, horseback riding, fishing, tubing, hikes, hot tub and relaxing on the porch to name of few activities. The food is so good!! We bought the Ranch cookbook to try our hand at a couple of recipes. Recommend as a family, couple, solo, friends or business bounding experience. This trip is going on the books as one of the best we have ever enjoyed!! Many thanks to the staff at Hawley Mountain Ranch for making such a rememberable family trip!!

Amazing mountain experience with horses!
An amazing experience all around. If you want to experience the mountains and riding horses, you would also love this place. We loved our little room above the lodge with views of the mountain and the pasture in the valley below; it was spectacular! The food was amazing, all home-cooked! We enjoyed hanging in the lodge to read, use the binoculars, or talk with staff or other guests. The 2 horse rides a day go through the mountains to see beautiful scenery!

Great Trip To The Mountains
I don't know where to start with this great experience. Everything from the accommodation, food, fishing, horses and staff. The room we stayed in was part of the main lodge. It was kept clean and comfy by Liz and Summer. Down the stairs to the main room was dining and kitchen and a place to gather after the day. Marie and Cindy prepared wholesome home cooking, They even prepared some south Louisiana jambalaya and strong coffee to make us feel at home.

Hands down the best vacation my family has ever gone on. The staff is absolutely amazing and treat you like part of their family from the beginning. We got to know all the guests, and by the end of the week, it felt like our family of 5 had grown by about 30 people. The patience and caring in teaching my sons how to ride a horse, or how to fly fish was unmatched! The one problem is I think this trip may have ruined horseback riding for my sons. Their very first experience will never be topped! The food was fantastic, and getting out of cell range for a week was the cherry on top!

Our family of four had a wonderful time at Hawley Mountain. The entire team made us feel welcome and worked hard to make the stay memorable and enjoyable. The food was excellent. A variety of choices was present at every meal. You certainly will not go hungry.

Eagle's Nest Lodge & Restaurant

Perched on top of a 300 foot cliff, is a 20′ x 50′ room with a circular fireplace intersecting the middle of the room and a dining area for guests. It provides a friendly gathering place for guests and staff alike to talk about your day’s ranch vacation adventures before dinner. Guests frequently venture to our deck outside where you can enjoy the breathtaking beauty of our mountainous river valley. Cookies, fresh fruit, and drinks are always available in the lodge.
